1. Booking & Reservations
Welcome to Munnar Peak Paradise. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or advance payment
- Room rates are subject to applicable taxes and service charges
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
- Valid photo identification is required at check-in
2. Payment Policies
Our payment terms are designed to ensure a smooth booking experience:
- A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking
- Full payment is due upon check-in unless other arrangements have been made
- We accept cash, major credit cards, and digital payment methods
- All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Additional charges for services, meals, and amenities will be added to your final bill
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in date
- Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a charge equivalent to one night's stay
- No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount
- Peak season and holiday bookings may have different cancellation terms
- Group bookings (5+ rooms) require special cancellation arrangements
Important Notice
During peak season (December-January and April-May), advance booking is highly recommended. Special events and festivals may require longer advance notice and different terms.
4. Guest Responsibilities
To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we require:
- Respect for other guests and maintenance of peaceful environment
- Compliance with local laws and resort policies
- Care for resort property and furnishings
- Immediate reporting of any damages or maintenance issues
- Adherence to safety guidelines and instructions from resort staff
5. Resort Policies
For the comfort and safety of all guests:
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the resort
- Pets are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made
- Outside food and beverages are not allowed in common areas
- Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Maximum occupancy limits must be respected for safety reasons
6. Liability & Safety
Your safety is our priority, and we maintain the following policies:
- The resort is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings
- Guests participate in recreational activities at their own risk
- Emergency procedures and evacuation routes are posted in each room
- Medical emergencies will be handled according to local emergency protocols
- Travel insurance is recommended for all guests
7. Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy:
- Personal information is collected only for reservation and service purposes
- Guest data is securely stored and not shared with third parties
- Communication preferences can be updated at any time
- CCTV is used in common areas for security purposes only
- Guest feedback and reviews may be used for promotional purposes
8. Force Majeure
The resort shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or acts of nature
- Government actions, civil unrest, or travel restrictions
- Infrastructure failures beyond our control
- Health emergencies or pandemic-related restrictions
- Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
9. Modifications & Updates
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically:
- Changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately
- Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms
- Significant changes will be communicated to guests with existing reservations
- Previous versions of terms will be archived for reference
